nails | a valentines giveaway

valentines is like marmite, I love it but some people hate it!

even when I was single I used to buy cards for my friends- why should we miss out right? I love any excuse to buy silly gifts and go out for dinner so hell if there's a designated day I'll go with it! I'm not the most soppy person, last year james and I were glued to netflix as the new series of house of cards landed on the 14th.. yep, romance isn't dead folks!

since I'm a fan I thought it would be nice to share the love and have a giveaway to treat someone this valentines!

my favourite jeweller the wonderful laura gravestock has kindly offered one of her beautiful written heart rings and I've picked up some classic red essie polishes to complete the look!

so whether you'll be out at a fancy restaurant or curled up in your pj's if you'd like to grab a little treat this valentines.. pop below and enter!

you can choose between either a sterling silver or 18ct gold plated ring, and you'll also receive the two red essie polishes pictured. the winner will be picked at random and announced on twitter/email.

good luck everyone!

ps. the nail art above is just created with a red nail art pen, I found a really quick and easy way to paint hearts on the beauty department which is worth a peek if you want to recreate it..

back soon!

  3. I think this is adorable. I rather like valentines and I think people focus on 'couples' a lot, but it's really all about love (friends, family, pets?) .. And what's not to love about that, hey?

  6. I really don't mind Valentine's Day too much. My birthday is a few days before it so I'm always more excited for that than anything Valentine's related! Hehe.

  32. Hi! I love all the Valentine themed décor. At the same time, I hate that it's so commercially built up. Thank-you for this super fun chance. :)

  33. To be honest I'm not keen on Valentines day as I find it a bit commercial! My boyfriend and I don't buy presents for each other or go for dinner or anything, although if he wants to treat me to something I won't say no!

  40. I've always loved Valentine's Day, I think it's a great opportunity to spend time with your loved ones, it doesn't necessary have to be with your boyfriend/girlfriend, in my opinion :) haha

  41. I am one of those horribly cliche (yet lovely lol) women who love love I crave that can't live without oneanother love and want everyone to have someone who makes them feel special and gives them the love they need. I told you cliche lol I think it's sweet to have a day all about love and I enjoy it but on the other side i don't like the idea of people who are not "with someone" feeling bad on Valentine's day that's my only negative but i personally love it and think if your single you should still celebrate with your friends or ones you love in other ways :)
