i've been meaning to share this post for what feels like forever! we finally finished up the bathroom reno and we're so happy with how it looks, it feels so shiny and clean (and totally worth the endless days of tiling and grouting!)
our old bathroom was white so there isn't a huge difference in that respect but the square tiles around the bath were old and the grout was discoloured and falling out which looked pretty gross no matter how much i cleaned it!

well this weekend has flown by don't you think? (i've been meaning to put this post up since friday -yikes!) today i've been catching up on work but yesterday we managed to sneak a few hours to ourselves hunting for cute plants at garden centres and grabbing a bite to eat outside whilst the weather was nice! i've been feeling quite unmotivated lately so i've written up a mammoth to-do list which has totally inspired me to get back into the swing of thing this week. maybe just maybe i'll have a productive monday tomorrow...

in between renovating my bathroom and kitchen i've not had much time to work on DIY's but things are a-changing! we've finally finished the bathroom so i'm starting to get back into making projects rather than grouting and tiling (hurrah!!)

i love simple and minimal projects so i couldn't resist putting together a round up of some i've come across recently! we started some renovations on our house which is super exciting but i 100% underestimated how long they were going to take, dang. i think we're finally making good progress tho (we almost have a functioning bathroom again) so i'm hoping to be working on some new content again soon, hurrah.

happy friday guys! this week has flown by right? i guess the bank holiday has something to do with it, that and the fact i got sucked into rewatching all the games of thrones episodes (again.) i'm going to ireland this weekend and i can't wait to see my family! we're also going to see our wedding venue for the first time since we booked it and my parents are coming along too- i think that's when it will sink in that i should probably start planning stuff at some point, yikes.

plants are one of the most important elements in our home, i don't seem to be capable of going through a week without adding another to my collection!
