Spring is one of my favourite seasons, there's something so exciting about those first sunny days when it's crisp and bright and you winter is finally behind you. 

Plus you're a step closer to easter and all that chocolate... what's not to love?

I've teamed up with Hobbycraft to show you how to create a spring themed terrarium. Hobbycraft have been one of my go-to places for craft supplies for years and they have a huge range of contemporary ideas for Easter crafts as well as fun projects for kids. (Sometimes if I'm a little lacking in ideas for projects I'll browse their site for new materials and nine times out of ten I'll find some inspiration!)

I've made quite a few terrariums in my time but this one is a little different, I wanted to create a spring themed display that was zero maintenance and long lasting. When I spotted their foliage department everything fell into place... pow! I've enjoyed this twist on a regular terrarium and it was so much fun to make.

I have to admit I've never been a huge fan of trench coats.. well until amy and megan that is. these two babes have been rocking trench coats with such panache that I have officially been converted #teamtrench. 

they are pretty darn perfect for this time of year though, not too heavy, not too light (especially with the unpredictable showers that seem to be following me around this week!) I've paired mine with this lovely dress from rare london, I loved the laser cut out details on the sleeves and the sheer layering on the body. I think if I wore it with a high pony and changed the shoes it could look a little more edgy too.

speaking of shoes, these chunky gladiator sandals are an actual dream. they've not given me a single blister since I've worn them so expect to see me wearing these puppies again soon! 

I hope you're all excited for the bank holiday? there's a vintage car boot sale on monday so I'm looking forward to dragging the bf round! until then I plan on buddying up with a family sized bag of popcorn and my pj's.. fun times.

the snow has melted, spring is in the air (I just purchased my first bunch of daffodils so it's official!) I feel like  painting daisies is the sensible option ..plus I'm getting bored of darker winter shades!

so if you want to have a little spring fling with your fingers here's the steps to creating your own! it's not hard it just takes a little patience so grab a cup of tea and some cake and check yourself in the DIY nail salon..

I've been on a dress binge and found some bargains practically begging me to snap them up, honest! I love spring weather; warm enough to ditch the black tights for ankle boots but still cool enough to throw on a cute knit. I've been wearing my dresses with vintage belts, jumpers and plenty of over sized necklaces.
