Posts about: nail transfers

I've been so busy recently I've not had much time to dedicate to my favourite pastime.. nail painting!

I can't help but get a little bored of plain nails so nail transfers are my go-to 'nail art' when time is precious (if in doubt cheat your way to fun fingers!)

I have quite a few favourites but these tiger transfers from janchristie are definitely in my top 5!!
they're incredible easy to use just peel off the transfer and stick the image onto your nails.. voila! make sure you apply a few layers of top coat to seal the image otherwise it will rub off when they get wet!
in case you wondered the nail polish is the gorgeous lemon meringue from models own (yum) the transfers are available from janchristie in dozens of animal varieties!

in other news I realised I never did anything to celebrate reaching 1000 followers so I'm planning a nail art giveaway next month hurrah!! (I'll buy a few transfer sets to pop in along with some other surprises as I think you'll like them!)

back soon!

scrooges look away now..

I love christmas, I'd happily have my tree and fairy lights up all 12 months of the year! I look forward to christmas far more than my birthday and I'm a sucker for walking around gazing at xmas displays and lights when I'm out shopping. If you can't get excited about the festive season and the coca cola advert hitting our screens then I give up!

when these super cute transfers arrived through my letterbox I was pretty excited, I've always been a fan of janchristie nail stickers especially the adorable pug transfers but these are their new christmas editions! I love anything kitsch and fun so I'm a big fan of these little rascals.

if you fancy having a peek yourselves check out their website ..if you order 4 sets you'll get a 5th set free if you put 'burkatron' in the comments box! I think these are perfect for days when you want something a little different on your fingertips, you can request custom pictures of your own pets as well, perfect little stocking fillers!

hope you like them!

whoa serious cuteness coming up! I've discovered janchristie nail transfers thanks to one of my fave bloggers gem fatale (here) I'm eternally grateful because there is a huge lack of good (non cheesy) transfers on the market.

janchristie have a cool range of nostalgic and retro images of cats, tigers, dogs, you name it they can do it! I'm hooked, you can buy their transfers of their eBay shop and they arrive uber quick in cute cat printed envelopes (bonus) simple peel the image off, apply over your favourite polish and seal with a few coats of clear polish, they last really well.

they have a facebook page (here) or follow them on twitter @janchristieDNA. the good news is they are launching their website soon so go and check them out...

tut tut, yesss more nails. I cant help it, I guess it's a deep routed polish problem, after 24hrs I get bored and want to try something else.

from top: models own pastel pink with a coating of models own ibiza mix

middle: models own in the navy with yet again a coat of ibiza mix (can you tell I'm a fan yet..)

bottom: snow white with black polka dots with a peace sign nail transfer! I have to say I'm becoming a decal transfer fan, I've tried nail wraps and found then an absolute nightmare, how anyone gets all the creases out is beyond me. these little transfers are so much easier plus you can wear any colour polish which suits me better! as long as you top up the clear polish and seal them well they last a long time... fan!

anyway I hope this gives you some ideas fellow painters!
