clouchy croc bag: topshop

the best part about winter dressing is that it suits lazy people like myself.. give me a few good knits and six million pairs of tights and I'm done.

this jumper from chicwish fits just like I'd hoped; I love colourful prints so this was a real no brainer for me. it's soft, toasty and long enough to cover my rear... my kind of fluffy friend.

the boots arrived just as I was leaving the house so I threw them on preparing for the saga of having to break them in... much to delight they're crazy comfortable (my feet thank you) I have an eye on a few other pairs including these cat face ballet pumps and some chain boots that might be winging their way onto my christmas list! the topshop bag is my current daily arm candy as it holds pretty much everything I can throw at it.. including a pineapple, a multi pack of crisps and 6 doughnuts (unsupervised trips to the supermarket never end well)

I'm off to cook dinner which will no doubt involve some skilled handling of the microwave, those ready meals don't heat themselves you know...

back soon!

the word challenges usually fills me with fear (mostly a fear of any form of physical exercise) but a high street one..? KAPOW yes please.

I'll be attending this years clothes show as a guest of echo falls; it's an event I always wanted to go to when I was younger (the benefit of going now I'm older.. well I can have myself a nice old glass of white in the echo falls wine bar hurrah!) the challenge was to find a high street outfit for the show with a budget of £75.. and the above pics are what I've put together!

as always I was drawn to topshop like a magnet, I've been looking for a clean a-line skirt for winter layering and this quilted one fit the bill perfectly! the fluffy jumper was a foregone conclusion.. SOMEONE STOP ME! pastel baby blue and soft as a kitten I can't stop stroking myself because I'm virtually wearing a hug.

I've worn boots here today but I may switch for flats when I head to the clothes show as I'll be whizzing about taking pictures of all the goings on! I wanted to be presentable but comfortable and this skirt and jumper combo is just about the most comfortable thing that's ever graced my skin... puuuuuur.

now for a little extra fun I have a pair of tickets for the clothes show live to giveaway yippppee!! please enter via the rafflecopter giveaway below; I'll be announcing the winner this weekend!

there are a pair of tickets up for grabs (for your preferred date 6th-10th dec) and this one is just for the UK as travel costs are not included! The winner will have 24 hours to get back to me with their choice.. good luck everyone!
