so yesterday was pretty darn cold. 

the only way I avoided frostbite feet was to sit in a bath hotter than the sun and pray for forgiveness.. I guess it's time to admit defeat and join the 100 denier club.

in other news the annual obsession with acquiring the perfect winter coat continues; this beauty is from one of my faves front row shop and is oversized cocoon heaven to wear. I opted for the pastel blue 'cause I'm a sucker for colour and it'll double up as a handy homing beacon for people to locate me in crowds.

it's one of those coats with quirky angles so its hard to capture it's fit in pictures, I daren't break out the tyra banks poses out for fear of frightening my new neighbours but you can see it modelled better for yourself here. 

....and did I mention, it also comes in PINK!

quick outfit post today! this is actually one I wore while I was away, I thought I'd best share it before the summer when pictures of me sporting a woolly hat led you to question my sanity!

this is my usual wet day get up, enough layers to qualify as a walking onion & a hat to stop my hair from resembling an 80's perm. I think I look slightly like a hobo in this outfit, but dammit it was comfy.

the weather is due to be glorious tomorrow; I've been raiding the depths of my wardrobe to resurrect long neglected summer dresses... hip hip hurray! I'm even splashing out on some fake tan this evening (somebody stop me I'm going wild..)
