shop | buying glasses online

finding prescription frames

finding prescription frames that you actually like can be a real pain! i don't have a great deal of independent shops locally so i tend to order mine online where there's a much wider selection of shapes and styles to choose from.

ever ordered frames without trying them first? well it can be a bit of a gamble and i've had a few disasters so i was excited to try a home trial of some of my favourite frames and i wanted to share it with you.

i tried the glasses direct home trial and i was able to pick out a selection of frames which were sent next day delivery. i like my glasses big and geeky so i opted for square and wayfarer styles from quirky brands like london retro and scout.

when the glasses arrived i was able to try them on a get a second opinion from james and my family which was super helpful. once i'd made my decision i just packaged them back up and popped them back into the post. the trial process is so simple and totally free even if you decide you don't want anything!

you can also do a 'virtual' try on of the glasses online before you pick which frames you want to try at home- if you have no idea which frame style you'd suit I'd defo recommend it. after my trial i picked these scout frames, they're a different feel to my usual black specs and i love the tortoiseshell colour.

if you're hunting for an easy option for finding new styles then buying online might just be the answer (and well things arriving in the post is always fun right?!)

back soon!
