autumn is by far my favourite time of year, i adore the dark nights and cosy atmosphere in the run up to christmas. (it's pretty much the perfect setting for having friends and family over for candlelight suppers right?)

setting up our table is definitely my thing (cooking not so much!) i'm a big believer that a few finishing touches and attention to detail make a huge difference. this simple tablescape may look quite lavish but it's actually very quick to throw together.
