I love somethings about winter.. open fires, hot drinks, snuggling under my duvet.

attempting to take outfit pictures in rain, darkness or gale force winds urmm not quite so much aha! however today I woke up to sunny skies and beautiful weather..  yippee!

mild weather means I'm snatching the last chance for bare legs.. my skirt is from east london duo brat and suzie who have the most adorable range of animal motif clothing (any combination of pencil skirt with bambi print is a winner in my book) they're bringing some exclusive pieces to ASOS soon so keep your eyes peeled! the pink fluffy number is an old h&m purchase that I love to pull out on in-between days as it's soft and cosy without feeling too bulky...

I've worn my topshop backpack into the ground this summer so I was long overdue due an upgrade; this one is from la moda. it's no ordinary bag.. pull the straps one way to wear as a regular shoulder bag and another to wear as a backpack.. two bags in one! how cool is that? I'm a sucker for novelty but in this case it's actually really handy!

I'm bringing all of my clothes over to the new house this week so I've spent most of the weekend pulling out my wardrobe and having the mother of all spring cleans... so satisfying! I've found the most random assortment of old clothes (what the hell was I thinking...) but luckily I unearthed a few little treasures too.

I hope you've all had a great weekend.. I'll be back soon!

I wasn't intentionally trying to go monochrome with this outfit; I'm actually super keen to jump into some colour when the sun arrives (come on winter give spring a chance!)

I do however love my tee! one of my christmas presents from my bf (romance isn't dead y'all) its just a simple roll sleeve logo tee that I'll be wearing all summer with some denim cut offs (god I miss being able to wear shorts and t-shirts lately!)

I did have tights on with this earlier (it's not quite warm enough to venture out without 100 denier protection!) probably a good thing since my skin is so pale now I'm considering re-acquainting myself with my old friend st tropez!

I can't seem to shake my current love of stripes! I picked up this dress in primark last summer and it's one of my most worn dresses because it's so comfortable and easy to wear (nothing beats a good ol' jersey fabric in my book!)

I was so excited when my parka from the lovely people at mee mee arrived this week, it fits like a dream! I've been harbouring a crush on two tone jackets and have been umm-ing and ahh-ing about getting one for months! I swiftly bookmarked their website as it has a great selection of vintage items too (hurrah!) perfect for a high street/vintage kinda girl.

my latest favourite purchase is my topshop rucksack! my bank balance heaved a sigh of relief as I was able to buy  it with some gift vouchers I was given at christmas.. phew thanks mom! I'm slightly addicted to rucksacks; I adore the casual look and they suit me perfectly (..I can fill them up with all my clutter aha!)

occasionally I get spectacularly overexcited about clothes and accessories.

when the postman came this week I was practically jumping up and down as I signed for my parcels! as little pay day treat I ordered this incredibly cute cat face tee by not for ponies from the little deer website. They sell some brilliant independent designers at really affordable prices and they also stock some brilliant vintage items.

I also got the vintage floral skirt I'm wearing from them too (it was in the sale for less than £10!)

I'm also completely in love with my rucksack and pineapple necklace from the lovely people at chelsea doll

I've wanted a rucksack for ages and this one is a awesome mix of ice cream coloured kookiness and my beloved laptop fits snugly inside so it's going to be glued to my side for the foreseeable!

I adore their jewellery; kitsch, unique and fun it completely satisfies my inner 80's child... seriously how could you not be in a good mood when you're wearing it?

they sell acrylic name necklaces too! I'll definitely be popping one on my christmas list... pow!
