I hardly ever wear all black, maybe only once every two months! I must have woken up on the dark side of my bed because I fancied a basic black ensemble. I bought this black tee from topshop last year but it's one of my favourite slogan tees because it's so simple.

recently I splashed out on two pairs of leigh skinnies from topshop. I hate jean shopping, hopping about on one leg whilst fighting to peel off super tight denim is my least favourite shopping experience. when I find a pair that fit I tend to grab them so I can avoid trying on any more! I got one black and faded classic blue so at least I now have my denim allowance for the winter (no more changing room workouts)

I'm still loving my leopard boots from matalan especially now as I seem to be dodging puddles every morning! definitely time to retire the flip flops..

so this week I'm going to london to celebrate my bf's birthday! I'm really excited, we've booked a really lovely boutique hotel in hyde park and a mad hatters afternoon high tea! I can't wait to tuck into rainbow sandwiches, drink me potions, scones and magical lollipops.. eeeek!

today I'm going to raid my wardrobe to pick out what I'll be wearing! I'll post lots of pictures on instagram while I'm there so beware if you're following me aha!

I love to wear bright clashing outfits but sometimes I'm really drawn to simple classic combinations! I was out shopping recently and spotted a girl wearing washed out jeans with a white tee tucked in and though she looked great! it inspired me to put together a similar look this weekend when I went out for drinks with my friends.. 

I've been hunting for some animal print chelsea boots this month; I nearly grabbed pair I saw in new look a few weeks ago, but I'm glad I didn't because I found a nicer pair for less money at matalan hurrah! 

I'm really loving statement necklaces and found this little bargain for £8 at h&m so snapped it up, I think it looks nice with this rather simple outfit and dresses it up just enough for the daytime. I love my latest handbag too, a basic black fringed number from new look which didn't break the bank and will last me all through autumn/winter!
