I associate marks and spencer with two things.. good quality underwear and tasty food (the latter always endangering my ability to fit into the former, godamn you m&s bakery.) nothing beats the arrival of new lingerie so the chance to try something from the rosie autograph line was a bit of a treat (I have a slight girl crush on rosie huntingdon-whiteley you know)
I love the rosie collection; romantic and feminine there's lots of pretty bras, briefs and lounge-wear but I wanted to try something completely different! after a lot of browsing* I opted for this nude vintage inspired teddy as I loved the scalloped detailing on the shorts.
made from silk and delicate french lace if it wouldn't be a crime in the current conditions I'd be severely tempted to attempt the underwear as outerwear trend. wonderfully flattering, it's like wearing a cute little romper (but more luxurious) it hasn't transformed me into huntingdon-whiteley (sigh) but it's certainly done wonders for making me feel like a silky 60's siren.
it's simple but sexy, understated but playful... darn, I think I love you rosie.
