nothing kicks off the christmas season for me like the arrival of the john lewis ad.. the last two made me slightly over emotional (in other words I cried like a baby) there's just something so perfectly nostalgic about the build up to christmas that I'll never fall out of love with it.

so why am I harping on about my love affair with all things festive? well I'm going to be involved in a fun little project this month .. a blogger secret santa with john lewis... eeeeeeep! 

I'm so excited.. this is my first ever secret santa! (I love shopping for presents.. MUCH FUN!!)

I'll find out next week which blogger I'll be picking for, I can't wait to read through their blog and see if I can get a good insight into what they may like (possibly the best reason to stalk someone's blog ever?) I can't wait to show you who I shopping for (and also what was picked for me!)

I'm not sure if it's the secret santa but I'm already feeling ridiculously festive (any excuse to polish off a few roast dinners and 'borrow' my nieces toys) I think now the house move is nearly finished the thought of my first christmas in my new house has turned me into a big kid again..?
