bugger.
my attempts not to shop took a hit when I spotted this tapestry blazer in river island at the weekend (darn tapestry temptation)
the knowledge I'll be wearing it all winter does make me feel better though! I think it's my favourite thing at the minute along with woolly hats and hot soups.
it's definitely one of the more wearable tapestry trend items I've come across; the boyfriend style fit is really nice too (I think every girl needs a few blazers in their wardrobe.) I've just paired it with a vintage bag from the little deer and a casual topshop tee and skinnies today, easy peasy.

I wore this outfit while on holiday and I meant to blog about it last week but alas I ran out of computer time!
it's not an outfit I'd reach for on a daily basis but when I'm feeling a bit more edgy I love to wear my leather skirt. I actually bought it last winter but it's one of those pieces that has lasted through to the following season and I'll probably wear it until early next year so it was definitely worth the purchase.
I'm still loving the camo trend but I'm growing a little weary as it's so popular now! luckily I live near an independent army surplus shop and I can pick up tee's for a fraction of the high street price. I'd recommend you check for any near you before you invest in the topshop or urban outfitters versions!
I'm also wearing my new urban outfitters necklace and regal rose ring that I picked up in the look show goodie bag, I love accessories so I'll be checking out their site for other gothic inspired items.

I nabbed this jumper when I first saw it in the lana del rey advert for h&m and I'm so glad I did.
it's a fluffy little number without the maddening itchiness of a pure mohair jumper. I feel like girlie princess when I pop it on and it's perfect for the temperature at the minute!
it is however a real pain if your wearing black jeans.. it's like a cat shedding its hair! I'll shall stick to wearing it over my dresses until its gets so cold that I have to wear my coats!

I was feeling pretty mellow when I picked out this ensemble! I was going out to do some sightseeing in cirencester with my bf so it was definitely a converse kinda day!
I bought this cute little studded sweater from fashion union a few weeks back, it's my first purchase from them and I'm really impressed with the quality. it's really easy to wear and the studs add a little bit of edge without going overboard! (I didn't fancy scaring the elderly population of the cotswolds on my day out)
I paired it with my new bag, a sneaky purchase from asos I love the owl badge! animal motifs are huge this autumn and I for one am very happy about this!

I found some adorable shops while I was out, my favourite was called m.a.d.e. and was full of colourful jewellery and china.
after a lot of ooooing and ahhhing my bf finally dragged me out, but not before I nabbed some soaps, cups and a cute little brooch aha! I thought I'd post you some pictures so you can see yourself! they will be opening an online store soon but you can see their current one here!

hello guys! I feel like I haven't checked in for a while, but I promise it's not from lack of effort!
I'm currently enjoying a little week away in the cotswolds with my bf and his lovely family. It's so beautiful I was so excited when I arrived.. then I discovered I had no phone signal, internet or 3G I nearly had a heart attack aha!
I love to escape from the world but I do like to be able to check back in occasionally, I never realised what a total instagram addict I am! every time we've left the house and I get some signal I'm like a possessed woman quickly posting all my pictures... oh dear.
anyway instagram withdrawals aside; we decided to take a little day trip to bath! whoosk it's gorgeous! the architecture was so damn pretty, I felt like I was wandering through a jane austin novel.
I wore my little floral dress form topshop, with my comfy little chelsea boots. I adore this dress, it's basically an oversized tee with rolled up sleeves. no ironing required just throw it on and you're good to go!
plus I love the bold winter floral print which is easy to match to tights when it's cold!

after a long stroll around bath taking pictures and a spot of shopping we sat down to warm out mitts in a lovely little tea shop with the most amazing cakes before we headed home.
mmmmm cake.
I'll be back again soon, my bf has supplied me with some kind of magical stick called a dongle so I can get online while I'm here.. he's my hero!

when I was younger my geography teacher wore jumpers with elbow patches.
do you know how long I have been looking for a geography teacher sweater? I'll tell you.. years.
and now they're bloody everywhere! (to my delight) (nerd thumbs up) I think it's high time the winter layering started so I have been scouting out the ol' knitwear this week.
I walked into new look and spotted this jumper, I'm slightly embarrassed to admit how excited I was to spy it's leather look elbow patches, win!
in keeping with the school teacher theme I picked up this amazing little cambridge satchel look a like in primark (hello £6 bargain!)
I also found myself a new boyfriend style watch in river island; it's a a little michael kors -esque but at a fraction of the price.
