i like to keep things lighthearted on here but yesterdays events in france have made me feel quite sombre today. i think i'm just going to focus on appreciating the happy moments this weekend- those little things i can take for granted. spending a candlelit evening with james in the garden, walking to the market to buy fresh flowers, playing songs i cherish on the record player and those huge hugs my parents give when i've not seen them for a few days.

i'm going to fill my days with those good things.

hope you all have a lovely weekend..

  2. It's moment like those in the world, while so devastating, are sometimes what we need to realise how lucky we are in our lives and to never take anything for granted, I think everyone deserves to take an easy weekend, like you said after what had occurred. Also great post xx.
