my boudoir decorating continues! I took another vintage chair and decided to change the look completely; several coats of paint later the brown oak was an vintage off white and I re upholstered the seat in a beautiful provence rose fabric from cath kidston.
I distressed the wood around the edges where naturally it would wear over time and it fits in perfectly with my existing furniture. It's so much more fun to discover and adapt old furniture, I'm going to keep an eye out for some more pieces to renovate soon! I have completely given up trying to resist floral fabrics, life is so much prettier with them in it..
